From introductions to indepth studies of certain supply chains, these are individuals and organisation representatives who have a wide range of Fair Trade topics they can cover. Most speakers are very happy to work with you to tailor their activities to your specific requirements. Your local Fair Trade group may also know of speakers in your area. Please note that Fair Trade Wales does not have a speaker scheme and you will need to contact these speakers yourself.

Lis Perkins

About Lis

Lis Perkins has been supporting schools in her area for many years. In addition to all of the information below, Lis can also support schools as they work towards achieving the three levels in the Fairtrade Schools Awards scheme. Lis can offer Fair Trade goods to schools on a sale or return basis. She worked as Area Coordinator for Christian Aid for some 11 years & has been directly involved with Fair Trade since 2002.

Martha Musonza Holman

About Martha

Martha is originally from Zimbabwe but now lives in Wales. She has direct experience of the benefits Fair Trade brings to communities and runs an arts and crafts business, and an     active community link, which aims to elevate poverty back in her home country. Martha has been talking in schools about Fair Trade for many years.

Fair Trade in Football Campaign

About Sharron

Sharron has been a football fan from the age of 10, and since finding out about the conditions that footballs are stitched in set up the Fair Trade in Football campaign to raise awareness of this issue. Sharron uses resources to promote, engage and educate people about the nature of Fairtrade, and Fairtrade in football; showing how our support can help transform communities, whist promoting sustainability. The Fair Trade in Football campaign runs a Fair Trade Cup every year with 12 schools participating, alongside offering the workshops and support below.
